Former "4Him" member Marty Magehee calls Tux

It's no secret that one of our fav bands of all time is supergroup "4Him." When group member Marty Magehee called for help with national promotion of his solo album...time stopped.

Marty's long-awaited debut album is finally here, complete with his first solo smash hit, "Drawing Me." He instantly grabbed the attention of radio promoters in Nashville, and then called us.

Tux is handling national tour promos, tour graphics and posters, as well as song-release promos for radio and television.

Tux gets into Flash and music widgets

With the recent upswell of flash widgets and music being used for both tracks and sound effects in transitions, we thought it'd be a good time to get the word out on what works.

You have to take into account both the quality and length of audio segments used.

Tux in currently involved with three CCM artists in the development of embedded flash widgets on websites and online communities as a part of their marketing campaigns, and we've been tinkering with everything BUT these timeless rules: Keep it short and stream it.

Whether it's a Text Team, a Spring Widget, or a Bright player, we've gone out and gotten the new Adobe CS4 Creative Suite and have been putting Flash CS4 and TextEff to use, hammering out everything we can get out of these amazing products.

The end result is some incredible embedded players that make a point, make it easy to navigate, and attract surfers to more of your brand.

When Tux was first contacted about putting together a Book/Speaker promo for Don Piper, we never thought that spot would impact so many people for so long, or that it wouldn't stop.

It literally shows no signs of slowing down.

The internationally award-winning commercial continues to be used to promote both Don Piper's speaking appearances and the New York Times Best-Selling novel. Shirley Liechty, Don's booking agent calls the promo "...unbelievably strong...compelling still."

Tux Radio's full-length show production of CCM Radio's "Worship with Andy Chrisman" continues to show results, with the addition of CCM powerhouse KXOJ.

The 4-hour show, customized in sellable 28-minute segments, is done with precision and has garnered the interest for national sponsorship by the likes of World Vision and Lifeway Christian Bookstores.

"The quality of the imaging, music and voiceover makes the final product worthy of broadcast on any station," states host Andy Chrisman, lead singer of Christian megagroup "4Him."
